A clean private room in a working family home — red oxide floors, wooden shutters, chai on the verandah and a family that eats with you.

Stay on a mango, cashew or coconut farm. Walk the orchard, join the harvest in season, and learn how a Kokan farm actually runs.

Grind the masala, roll the modaks, learn a fish curry or a full vegetarian thali from the person who cooks it every day.

Hosts are village families and self-help groups, not operators. The majority of what you pay stays in the village.

Every host is visited, trained on hygiene and guest safety, and supported with bookings and enquiries by our team.

Small groups, local food, minimal plastic and respect for sacred groves, farmland and fishing seasons.

Travellers can request a village stay for any season. Kokan families with a spare room or a farm can join the only KOKAN host network.
